Design a T-shirt to promote energy conservation.

Tasks:

Task #1: Prep

1. Research and find a way to conserve energy.
2. Come up with a slogan for it.
3. Think of and list images that can help represent your method of energy conservation.

 Task #2: Rough Work

1. Do some rough sketches of your t-shirt design; think simple, like your logo design. Simple designs work best on clothing. Think of both sides of your t-shirt; front and back.
2. Add your slogan to your t-shirt.

 Task #3: Create

1. Load the t-shirt template located in your resource folder.
2. Design your t-shirt to promote energy conservation in Adobe Illustrator
3. Incorporate your slogan using your amazing typography skills
4.  Keep in mind the following requirements:

•  The design needs to be bold and stand out.
• Slogan promoting energy conservation must be a part of the design.
• The design will be judged on creativity and impact.
• The design must be appropriate for a high school audience.

Task #3: Submission

1. Select "2007 - T-Shirt Design - AWS3M", under "My Projects"

2. Select "Stories"

3. Click on "Create a New Story" button

4. For the following fields fill out:

• Story Name: <Your Name> - T-shirt Design
• Short Description: <Your Name> - T-shirt Design to promote energy conservation for Mr. Loo's 2007 AWS3M class
• Story Type: Text with an optional image
• Image for this story: upload your image
• Your Story: Write out your slogan to promote energy conservation

5. Drop off in my drop-off folder.
     Hand in to me:

• This Assignment Sheet (-1 mark for not handing the assignment sheet in)
• Final piece printed out in colour
