Impact
I mentored my daughter and her friend last night. There are a couple bullies in their school and I coached them on how to deal with this.
Last night we had a group of kids over and Manda and her friend Kate were being bullied by a couple of boys in their class.
We talked about it and together, with the group of kids, we came up with solutions on how to deal with this.
It was great to talk openly with everyone. It was a very successful experience and I highly recommend mentoring.

Assigned to Become a Mentor
I saved a little puppy from running into the road.
Last night as I was leaving the gas station, I noticed a little puppy running down the road heading straight for a busy intersection. I managed to get the puppy into the parking lot. He was very scared. Worried that he would run back into the road, I found a piece of gum and placed it on the ground.
The puppy walked up to it and I quickly picked him up. Just then the owner ran up to me very grateful that I found his dog.
So glad that everything worked out in the end.

Assigned to Random Act of Kindness
Went to the local Farmer's Market in Marin County. Bought fresh vegetables for the week.
On Saturday I mentored a very sweet 8 year old. She didn't know how to swim and we worked on her arm and leg movement. She was super happy.
Today I planted trees.
Today a friend and I decided to plant a couple redwoods in my backyard. I live in the redwood forest and years ago a large group of trees were cut down. We are hoping this will make a postive impact in years to come.

I hung my clothes out to dry on the clothes line today.
I had my husband set up our clothes line this past weekend. I'm not drying my clothes anymore!

I am grateful for my dog Krypto. He saved our hamster from being eaten by our cat.
Last night our hamster escaped and our Border Collie, Krypto decided to stay guard all night making sure our two cats didn't eat it.
He's very protective of our animals and it was very cute to watch. When we found the hamster he was all slobbery from where Krypto picked him up to move him back into the kitchen.
